Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the television. Her parents are Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on the 26th of December in 1976. The family moved to Texas to pursue the career of a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas only a short time before moving in Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of acting roles, including local independent films and commercials. Despite her small roles, she quickly discovered her passion to act. She then moved in New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children, a daytime soap. In the beginning of the 2000s She appeared on small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in the year 2004, on the underrated film The Mountain.
