Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the television. Her parents are Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on the 26th of December in 1976. The family moved to Texas to pursue the career of a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas only a short time before moving in Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of acting roles, including local independent films and commercials. Despite her small roles, she quickly discovered her passion to act. She then moved in New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children, a daytime soap. In the beginning of the 2000s She appeared on small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in the year 2004, on the underrated film The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. After a short time, her character moved over to Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress-TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, De La Garza received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She played Marisol Delko's wife and the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. She was the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a Italian father as well as one brother Cory, who is 10 year younger than her. Her family was a very conservative and spiritual one. Milano began her acting career at age seven old. The babysitter took her along to the first audition. With more than 1000 applicants her name was picked as one of just four. Milano has appeared in ads both on Broadway and television as well, such as the American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
